Privacy / Visitor analytics

Clear purpose.
Limited collection.

SCLYX uses optional, consent-based visitor analytics to understand how its public website is used and to protect service reliability.

What is collected

If you choose “Allow analytics”, SCLYX creates a random token stored in your browser and records the token, visit timestamps, page paths, the referring website’s origin when available, and broad browser/device categories. The token is a pseudonymous browser identifier; it does not verify your identity and may change if you clear browser storage or use another browser/device.

What is not collected by this analytics script

The script does not request your name, precise location, full browsing history outside SCLYX, passwords, or covert device fingerprints. The analytics event does not intentionally store full referrer URLs or full user-agent strings.

Notifications and access

A server-side system may send the site operator an SMS when a new consenting browser token is recorded. Visitor records are available through a separate administrator dashboard. Credentials for the dashboard and SMS provider are configured as server-side secrets, not embedded in public JavaScript.

Your choice

You can decline analytics in the banner. If you previously accepted, clear the site’s local storage or browser site data to reset the choice and token; the banner will appear again. Declining stops this script from sending analytics events from that browser. Standard hosting/security logs may still be processed by the hosting provider.

Retention and contact

Visitor records are retained until the site operator deletes them from the analytics database. Do not submit sensitive personal or confidential third-party information through this website. For privacy questions, contact sclyxq7@tutamail.com.

This notice is a practical starting point, not legal advice. Update it to reflect your actual retention period, provider terms, applicable law and operating practices before launch.
